Test Prep Programs
At One On One Tutoring Service, students begin instruction at their instructional level. This means that instruction will commence on the level in which the student is tested and will gradually increase in difficulty as each skill on each level is mastered. This makes for a more differentiated approach where all students’ needs are met rather than the one-size-fits-all method.
GED Test Prep
The GED test has long provided an alternative path for students and adults without a high school diploma. At One On One Tutoring Service, we provide the highest quality GED test prep using research based assessments and curriculum to develop and implement learning plans customized and tailored to fit each student’s needs.
In 2004, several changes to the GED test will make it more difficult for many to use this path as an alternative to a high school diploma. This new test will require students to have background knowledge in certain subjects. The new test will be computer-based and align with the common core state standards.
These changes will force students to spend more time preparing for the test, as students will need to relearn many prerequisites needed to pass each part of the test.
